The Team RAFINA RAHAMAN-RAHIM, a partner holds a First Class Honours Degree in Law. She was admitted to the British Bar in 1986 and later re-qualified as a Solicitor in 1990. She is also an Attorney in Guyana, South America. After admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales , Rafina worked with a leading law firm in London where she headed up their Commercial and Corporate Department dealing with a wide range of commercial, contractual and business issues for the international clients, including International Trade, Immigration issues for the Overseas Company and general company and commercial litigation. In March 1993 , she established RAFINA SOLICITORS. Rafina has been working in a varied legal environment since the commencement of the practice. Her sphere of experience ranges from dealing with clients at all levels each with their particular and different legal issues. Her main focus is on the commercial and corporate clientele where she is best suited. With her business experience and background she has developed a strategy whereby her clientele have benefited from the pragmatic approach she has utilised in resolving disputes, whatever these may be. Rafina is a well known and respected business woman in the community. She has demonstrated her ability to take on the challenge of leading a team of legal professionals into the millenium, by ensuring that they themselves are ready to face this challenge. The practice has grown considerably since its formation and by 1995 had expanded its offices into much larger and distinguished premises where it is currently located.
